I started making these beautiful edible decorations about 12 years ago..When I first started out, I had bought the gumpaste, but I have managed to make my own, so I can control the effects of the gumpaste when in contact with humidity...The gumpaste you purchase from the store, tend to get softened up again once there is high humidity in the air and the flowers will lose their shape....So, by making my own, I can ensure my customers that once my flowers dry out they stay that way..
